Hudson Jack emerged onto the scene two and a half years ago, after an intense 39 hours of labor.  He is all boy!  From the time he was nine months old, his favorite word was “car” and still to this day he is mesmerized by tractors and trucks.  Hudson has an amazing mind, and we sometimes we aren’t exactly sure where he came from.  He already knows 180 country flags and capitols, the entire solar system including the names of several of Jupiter’s moons, and can recognize 170 dog breeds.  (Does this sound like bragging?)  We aren’t obsessed with making our boy learn all this stuff – he just thinks its fun and has a mind like a little sponge.  So as he pursues his stunning scholastic strides, we are learning new things everyday.

Hudson is a sweet, curious, energetic, outgoing, and zany character, and every day he delights our parental hearts with some new adorable display of cuteness.  He loves the zoo, the park, and the malt shop.  He loves to sing.  His favorite song is the ABC’s.  He has huge brown eyes that take in everything.  Once you meet Hudson, you won’t forget him, and we thank God everyday for the blessing of his little life.

Harper Grace arrived home July 18, 2007.  She is a super-sweet bundle of joy that God brought into our lives in an incredible and unexpected way.  You can read the whole story of her adoption at www.authenticgirl.com.  At 7 months, she is wonderfully chubby and has two bottom teeth that never stop grinning.  She has brought nothing but sugar and spice and everything nice into our lives!  Hudson loves Harper and is emerging into an incredible older brother. We hope you enjoy this video of her homecoming
