Those of you that have followed our ministry for the past several years probably know that we’ve had a vision and desire to launch a Colorado-based discipleship community for quite some time – a place where eager young men and women can come and be equipped to eternally impact this world for the Kingdom of God. Well, after years of prayer – we’ve officially launched our first long-term discipleship training community! Leslie and I have teamed up with a trusted pastor and comrade, Ben Davenport, to create the Stone Mountain Project. If you are interested in coming out to Colorado to become part of a world-altering vision, then I invite you to read on!

The Stone Mountain Vision
Throughout the centuries the true church of Jesus Christ has emerged out of war, culture, persecution, religion, apostasy and error. Today the true Church is emerging once again. Out of the ashes of dead religion, a struggle has been born between truth and deception that will alter the Church forever. By God’s grace we intend to do everything in our power to see that living, vibrant and relevant historic Christianity rise from this conflict as the emergent victor to represent Jesus Christ for the next century and beyond with passion, love, honor and power. We invite you to join us - not in a conversation, not in a dialogue or a movement, but as a solider of Jesus Christ in the battle of the ages. So join us. You can help change the world. Maybe one last time.

The Stone Mountain Community
A band of believers ready to move past the dead religion and self-focused spirituality of our modern times have joined together in Colorado to be trained and equipped as soldiers in the battle for Truth that rages all around us. Ben Davenport and myself are leading a discipleship training program that forever alter all those that attend. (Leslie is also leading specific training modules on a limited basis.) This training establishes the moorings of historic Christianity and enables men and women to not just hear the Word of God – but to make it a vibrant, living, powerful reality in their daily lives. If you are hungry for the real thing when it comes faith in Christ, you will find it here. We have discipleship training twice a week, and our Stone Mountain Church meets weekly for prayer, worship, and fellowship. In addition, we are preparing to launch an international rescue mission for orphans and enslaved children across the globe – we are recruiting all those search of “spiritual employment” to help in this endeavor.

Who Can Participate?
Anyone ready to get serious about their Christianity and make a true difference for the Kingdom of God. Sorry to be so blunt, but we are not interested in training half-hearted, self-absorbed, Christians who are looking for a chance to be center-stage. We are ready to groom eager men and women who are willing to go to all lengths for the true Gospel of Christ. So if you are ready and willing to take up your Cross daily and follow Him to the ends of the earth – you are welcome to join us!

What Does it Cost?
There is no tuition or registration fee required to be part of this community and training. However, we do not have a facility that offers any housing accommodations, so you are responsible for your own living arrangements, etc.

Where is it Held?
The Stone Mountain Church and Community meets in Fort Collins, CO – about 1 hour north of Denver at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

When are the Sessions?
    Tuesday 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
    Friday 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
    Sunday service: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

How can I find out more?
Contact Brent and Carrie Cooper (community coordinators) at brentacooper@gmail.com with logistical questions about joining our community and/or moving to the Fort Collins area. (You can also leave a message on our ministry voicemail 970-581-1058, but please allow a few days for a call back.) An important note about housing questions: for those in need of finding housing in the area, we can help facilitate arrangements with a particular apartment complex in Fort Collins where several other church members/students are currently residing. We cannot help you “house hunt” but if you are interested finding out more about these apartments as well as potential roommates from the community, Brent can help answer questions.
